Digital Learning
The integration of digital technologies as an effective learning tool supports and enhances the teaching and learning program. Teachers incorporate digital technologies into learning and assessment to create environments focused on creativity, problem solving and critical thinking, while developing responsible digital citizens who are accountable for their online behaviour and learning.
To facilitate the effective use of digital technologies in the classroom, a ‘Bring Your Own Device’ program operates for students from Year 4-6. Parents are asked to provide an iPad with the following specifications:
iPad Requirements BYOD 2025
In order to work efficiently and ensure compatibility with the school system and classroom needs, devices must have the following features:
- Apple iPad (minimum 8th generation – released 2020)
- Latest operating system installed (currently iOS18)
- Data storage of at least 64gb
The preferred minimum specification is Apple iPad (10th Gen) Wi-Fi / 10.9-inch / 64GB (or greater) /iOS.
