Term 3 means Athletics season!

A recent busy bee prepared our jump pits for the Term 3 athletics program, with industrious parents assisting staff to dig the lawn out of the pits and improve the run up levels. This will also help students training for upcoming carnivals.

Our Faction Athletics competition will be held on 06 September, with successful competitors going on to compete in the Interschool Athletics. Both carnivals will be held on the beautiful sporting grounds of Kent Street SHS.

Prior to these events, selected students will compete in the Interschool Cross country competition on 02 August (McDougall Park, Como) and the State Cross Country competition on 09 August (McGillivray Oval, UWA).

The development of the Nature Play areas is a project that the P&C and the school have worked on for a number of years. The project has involved an extended development process by the Grounds Committee which comprised of staff and P&C members as well as interested parents. Phase one was completed in October 2017 and Phase two is underway.
