Year 6 Camp

Our annual Year 6 Camp takes place next week, commencing on Monday 27 May with an excited group of students boarding the train at 7:00am for the journey to the Goldfields Camp School, Kalgoorlie.

The camp provides students with a unique experience through educational, physical & social interaction. Activities cover both local and state history, with students visiting museums, local attractions and more. Particular focus is given to mining, from the 1800s through to today.

Camp also provides a wonderful opportunity for the students to engage in team-building activities & cooperation games.

Projects

The development of the Nature Play areas is a project that the P&C and the school have worked on for a number of years. The project has involved an extended development process by the Grounds Committee which comprised of staff and P&C members as well as interested parents. Phase one was completed in October 2017 and Phase two is underway.
