Creating the Elemental Wolf – Room 6

For their class piece in the Art Exhibition for 2015 the Year 4 students, from Room 6, worked carefully and patiently to create the stunning ‘Elemental Wolf’ using acrylic paint and pen.

Preparing the canvas with a neutral colour

Choosing the colours from warm to light using the colour wheel

Amplifying the image with an overhead projector

Outlining the image on the canvas

Painting the outlines in the selected colours

Painting each colour section with acrylic paints

Warm colour area coming together

Drawing the outlines with acrylic black marker pen

White highlights are added
